McFadden: “SEC is no longer going to work for the Hogs”

In a social media post, former Arkansas running back Darren McFadden expressed his frustration with how his former football program is no longer competing in the SEC.

He tweeted "With how our last 3 head coaches ended up, no one wants to coach at Arkansas. We should leave the SEC to rebuild!" As of 12PM Saturday, the tweet is trending 9th on Twitter in Arkansas and has 16,000 re-tweets.

He followed up with a second Tweet stating, "Love my Hogs but the coaching competition got us stuck. Coaches use us for better offers at other schools. #LeaveTheSEC"

Two years ago, Coach Gus Malzahn of the Auburn Tigers used the vacancy for head coach at the University of Arkansas to leverage a better contract with Auburn.
